XRF Testing
An XRF testing and analysis is extremely accurate, and only needs approximately 20 grams of mineral sample, pulverized to 80 – 100 mesh, to achieve these results. For accurate and homogenous sample results, please send samples that fit this criteria.
If you are unable to crush or pulverize your sample Jet Silver will perform these services (see chart below).
Included in XRF testing fee for ALL samples is a chart listing all the discernable elements, in ppm, or in % by weight. A separate chart is also included allowing you to do the appropriate calculations to determine how the concentration translates to the amount of material that may be present in the material that the sample came from.
Jet Silver takes the utmost care to ensure that rigorous protocols are followed to avoid sample contamination, including thorough cleaning of all equipment between samples.
